Yeoldon House Hotel This is a truly lovely venue for a wedding reception (and its fully approved for civil marriages/ceremonies too!). We actually know a few couples that had their wedding receptions at this venue and they won't stop telling us how good it was! Mostly because of the level of service offered and because of the warm country house feel of the place. So, if you want a dreamy classic style country house location for your wedding reception (and/or for the wedding itself!), then this place is definitely worth a good look! The hotel itself stands at the eastern end of the ancient Bideford Bridge and is a great venue for a wedding receptions. We've already filmed here twice and both couples involved were extremly please with the level of service offered, the venue, and the cost of the package, etc... This hotel has a large number of rooms, all to an excellent standard. If you are looking for a wedding reception venue in Bideford, this is good location to assess. Kathleen and May If your looking for something a little different, the Kathleen & May is a beatiful restored wooden triple-masted sailing schooner which is licenced for the registration of civil weddings. Based in Bideford North Devon, the ship has the capacity to accomodate up to 60 guests.
